President

Gabriel Jaime Gomez

 

Gabriel Jaime is the chief administrator of Café de la Montaña and manager of our headquarters San Jose Estate. He has spent decades working, studying and learning coffee production and processing. He has served as a leader in the community of Tarso and surrounding towns.

Vice President

Luz Beatriz Maryana Gomez 

 

She is our translator, also a scuba diving instructor, videographer, editor and reporter. She is the driving force behind our social responsibility efforts within the farming community, reaching for development and prosperity. She is promoting our organization's sustainability and ecological principles.

Director of Coffee Grower Resources

Mariangela Puerta de Gomez

 

She is recognized for her wisdom and patience. Currently acts as Director of Coffee Grower Resources on behalf of the coffee producers for Café de la Montaña and their families.

Chief Operating Officer

Thomas Lynch

 

Has years of experience developing and managing successful businesses. He is an expert in process design, quality control and efficiency.  Thomas ensures integrity of the cup from source to consumption. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from San Diego State University and attended Western State University College of Law.  Thomas is passionate about specialty coffee and exotic varietals.

Angela Gomez

 

She learned from her Grandfather the proper way to keep books.

She lives in the country close to our headquarters, San Jose Estate. Angela is always helping the farming community, children and volunteering in hospitals.

Administrative Assistant
Jorge Gomez

 

 As the younger son of Gabriel Gomez, Jorge has served his family for many years and continues to take care of his mother, Mariangela Puerta de Gomez. Jorge is an extreme value to the family and Café de la Montaña from Medellin down to our coffee estates. 

Director of Colombian Operations

Huber Camacho

 

Has 26 years of experience in the Colombian coffee industry. Engineer, lecturer, teacher, Q. Grader and one of the most experienced tasters of Colombia. Huber has the distinction in knowledge of all phases of coffee production and exotic varieties. Huber is the point of contact for all matters of Colombia/Latin American affairs.

Nicolas Pereira
 

Lived in the area of Southwest Antioquia for 4 years learned the process of the coffee and had the opportunity to share and make many friends in the coffee community. Nicolas has great passion for bringing to the world the best quality coffee that one can taste. Currently, Nicolas is attending college studying business management.  

 
Executive Director

Jane Richardson

 

She oversees business development and organizational design.  Jane holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, has experience in Project Management and consulting.

Q-grader Certified / Barista

Natalia Ortiz Vera

 

Holds Specialty Coffee Association of America Q-grader certification, is a national and international competitions Baristas judge. Serves as cupping administrator and she is a mother and wife.

Jhony Alexander Delgado

 

Specialty Coffee Association of America Q-grader,  serves as cupping administrator and always looking to improve quality control and traceability, Jhony also is a national and international competitions Baristas judge.

Estate Coordinator / Sample Receiving

Diana Maria Henao 

 

She is the point of contact for sample receiving within Tarso, Pueblo Rico, Jericho and Antioquia in general.  Also Diana serves as assistant administrator of the San Jose Estate. She is a mother of a beautiful daughter.

Expert in Tree Propagation and San Jose Coffee Operations

Dario Pulgarin Bonilla

 

He is an arborist, with extensive experience and knowledge of native trees and their propagation. He serves as manager of forest reserves, and leads coffee processing at San Jose Estate.
